Bio
Mark “Sharky” Sanford:
has been in bands for what seems like a thousand years. Started singing for many bands in the Omaha area from Middle School through High School.
The music never stopped while he attended the School Of Architecture at UNL. He learned the piano because he couldn’t quite grip the guitar right and because his family had a piano just outside of his bedroom.
After a stint in a band in the Little Apple he returned to Lincoln where he was once called “Lincoln’s Piano Man” and played solo and duo gigs for years.
Got Married….had kids…. and the music took a back seat.
Kids got older and he got divorced. The music was instrumental is getting him back to reality.
His kids love what he is doing.
Influences are Steely Dan, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Todd Rundgren, Jackson Browne
