Mark's music brings the stories and soul of Australia, and life, to concert stages in a seldom-met poignant and powerful way.

Mark’s music has been toured and broadcast all over Australia, and internationally - and is renowned for it’s unique blend of soaring tenor vocals, sweet and pure melody - and emotive lyric.

Mark’s career has hit an all time high in 2003 with the release of his fifth album - “The Long Highway”. Already national media are proclaiming this project - with Brisbane producer Dash McIvor - as a brilliant collection of songs and performance by Mark.

Special highlights of “The Long Highway” include duets with the legendary Pat Drummond, and the superb Vanya - plus the powerful and cutting commentary on the cycle of crime and poverty suffered by so many urban indigenous Australians - “Wrong Place, Wrong Time” (co-written with the late bush poet Bobby Miller).

Mark is a ten-year veteran of the annual Tamworth Country Music Festival, and has won an unprecedented 11 Queensland Recording Association Sunnie Awards (this state’s top professional recording awards).

Mark released his first all-original album in 1994, and has continued his commitment and passion for new, original music since then. In 1999 Mark travelled to North America and Europe to perform - he has also performed all over Australia and New Zealand with media reviews and coverage in many, many other countries.

A truly independent recording artist, Mark and his music shine with honesty, integrity and real soul. A feature of Mark’s live performances is his uncanny ability to entrance an audience with the stories of his songs, and to leave them truly moved with the powerful emotion of his performance.
