The name of my album is called "Rockholica". In English it translates to Rockaholic. =D I chose this name for my album because it describes part of me. I believe everyone has a good side and a bad side and this name definitely describes my dark side. My first single is called "Este Cuento Se Ha Acabado". I played it on several local T.V. shows. My other two songs are called "Rockholica" and "Ni Villana Ni Mujer Maravilla". I opened a concert for a big latin national radio station. It's called "EXA FM", and I played both of the last songs I mentioned. I'm currently under the process of getting my songs on air with this radio station, and I do have many other songs which are under the process of being recorded to finish my album. I have some songs in English as well.

My music comes from the soul. I get inspired on life itself. As I live life , so do new songs arise. I speak from my heart. I write what I feel and think and I'm not afraid to be exposed that way because this is my way of expressing myself to the world. I'm very opened-minded and like to experiment with different genres and styles. I studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts for two years, and I decided to head back to the border to inspire my people with my music. People from the border are very unique. We live two lifes at once. The Mexican way and the American way. I'm proud to represent the people from the border. We have a lot to say and a lot of critics to defend ourselves from. My name is Marla Raio and for short- (Mr.) I could create a whole universe with my mind, and that is how I create my music. A whole new world of music to which people can identify themselves with. I started composing music when my grandfather was dying of cancer. The way his expression would change at the sound of music is what inspired me to want to write music to the world. My band members are great! They help me turn the ideas in my head into songs. They rock my socks out! =P
