Marletron

Marletron (www.facebook.com/marletron) is an EDM solo artist, a triple threat performing vocals, producing/DJing his tracks live and producing his own songs.

This rising star with impeccable time management and work ethic is one EDM artist to watch in 2014. Whether he is helping launch the career of an unrecognized talent, or in his London studio writing melodic piano riffs, Marletron constantly demands more of himself. 

Marletron was born Marlon Wurmitzer in the small hamlet of Burketon, Canada. His father was convinced of his musical abilities from an early age and placed him on a Mellotron at only 3 years old. That relationship evolved into an unbreakable bond with the instrument that led him to compose music at an early age.

Determined to make a career in the music industry, he relocated to NYC where he formed electro-pop Velvet Code. 2009 proved to be a monumental year for the band Velvet Code won an Independent Music Award (Song of the Year), was featured in The Hills, Jersey Shore, and many other MTV shows, while receiving wide spread notoriety with features on Perez Hilton, Arjan Writes and 50 other music publications.

In 2013, he left Velvet Code to launch Marletron, honing in on his new sound a crisp and seductive EDM blend of electro and progressive house, mixed with his own mesmerizing vocals.
