Marley BloO Band

Marley BloO is a 25 year old all-round female
artist.

Her duties are to compose, produce, arrange,
record, write rap and sing her own music and do all genres ranging from jazz to
house, to hip-hop, to drum and bass, to gospel. she does not limit herself to a
particular genre because she is flexible both vocally and in production to do
any genre. She also does work with her own band in her live performances.

Her name is Tebogo Marley Kekana, and she was born and raised in a very artistic family, ranging from dancers, to drawers to singers and poets. She happens to be the one blessed with every single artistic capability/ability there is in her family – she paints, draws, sculpts, designs, acts, dances, sing, raps, composes, writes lyrics n poetry, produces and records her own music and is a sound engineer, and a fully certified  tattoo

artist.

Marley BloO has performed on various stages, created by various musical promoters in this country, viz., The Standard Bank Joy of Jazz, Makufe Festival, Back to the City, Arts

Alive, Drakensberg Promotions, Bruce Kgapane, the Department of Arts and
Culture,Moshito etc., from the time she was in High School. She has appeared on a few prominant radio and TV shows such as: Morning Live, Metro FM, Tshwane TV’s AfroRythems, Tshwane FM, Kaya FM Unplugged to name a few. One of her

achievements was winning the Moshito 2015 Demo award. This was the first year
Moshito held the competition, making Marley its first winner ever. 

In 2017 Marley BloO was elected to showcase at the Primavera Sound Pro in Barcelona Spain. The Festival ran from May 31st to June 4th. The opportunity has been sourced through IMEXSA and the DTI mainly to promote independent SA Artists. Primavera  provided multiple learning opportunities to grow the artists’ knowledge and social net worth.

Marley now hopes to tour more international festivals, and is currently planning a world tour for 2018, which will include  Africa, North America, Europe and Asia
