His main instrument is guitar; however, he also plays bass, drums, keyboards, and sings. His main genres are: rock, power ballads, funk, acoustic rock, contemporary Christian, and praise and worship. Marlon was the lead singer, lead guitarist, and songwriter for the band Distant Thunder in the 90’s, which toured all over the US and Central America. He has opened for Bon Jovi and Kiss. Marlon wrote “All I Need”, which took #1 on the billboard charts in Central America in 1993 and is still being played today. He continues to get requests for this album, which is out of print.

He formed the band UN2U, who played throughout Ohio and the surrounding states. They have opened for national artists Petra and Mercy Me. He now has a band called Forty Days After, a contemporary Christian band that plays mostly local venues. He also performs as a solo artist and as a fill-in musician when needed.

Marlon has written and recorded 4 albums including an instrumental Christmas album. He is still active in songwriting and has recently been requested to submit music for an independent film. He has provided musical scores for two DVDs, an animated video and a marketing video.
