Bio

I love to sing. I always have, and as more time passes, I know I always will. I love the process of songwriting. It speaks to me and in turn I get to speak to you.
I started out singing songs in front of my family. But didn't most of us do that? When I was about 11 years old, my cousin Jim & I would gather up my brother Joel & his sister Colleen and we would get a whole band going for some of our family shows. Shortly after that Jim & I wrote our first and only song (he's now an accountant). I think it was called School Sucks... LOL! Go figure. I still remember most of it and have the Lyrics kickin' around somewhere.
My Dad owned a Chevron Station in Coquitlam, BC while I was growing up. Although I began singing at 2, this was where my singing days really took off. I would grab an air hose and hold it on top of the shop broom as if it were my Mic & Cable. I would start wailing away anything that I was listening to at the time. Mike, the drummer in a local band, was getting gas and happened to be out of his car and heard singing in the distance. He walked up to the Bay Doors, (I had no idea how long he'd been there) watched for a bit and then said "Hey, do you want to be in a band?" I stopped and thought to myself, this guy must be kidding. I just said "sure!"
The band went through many members but I learned over the years that that's how things go with bands. The guitar player, Jeff Fairbank and I, always stuck together. After 10 years together Jeff and I decided to branch out and do separate projects. We are still good friends and have recently began working together again.
I have been writing for this CD for about 8 years now. It is what I have wanted to do since I was 15 and well, good things come to those who wait.
Thanks for reading.
See you on the road soon!
