Bio

In the campus of the University of Miami, the band came into existence. Initially, its members were solely from U.M. Today, the band is composed of musicians from eight nationalities.

Member Biographies
Dan was born on January 1st, 1985 in Taipei, Taiwan. Inspired by his mother, he started playing the piano at the age of 3 and the Violin at the age of 4. He moved to Los Angeles in 1995, resided there until the summer of 2000, and moved again to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he resides today.
While in grade school he was a member of the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestra, with which he toured Washington state and British Columbia, Canada. He was a member of the Coral Ridge Presb. Church Contemporary Worship Team and the Westminster Academy Chapel Worship Band. In addition, he made the Florida All State Orchestra and was part of the Bellsouth Youth Ensemble, an opportunity which allowed him to perform with London Symphony Orchestra in the summer of 2001.
Apart from his interest in music, Dan has been a man of service in many ways, evident by being a 1st Lieutenant of the United States Air Force Auxiliary. Recently, he received the National Commander’s Commendation for outstanding accomplishment in Operation Hurricane Katrina.
By these and other accomplishments he is known affectionately (among the band) as Lieutenant Dan.

Joseph was born in Hollywood, FL where he currently resides. His passion in life derives from his gift for music. Flexing his musical prowess reveals Joseph as not only a producer and arranger, but also as a musician (he is an accomplished classical cellist). Joseph finds himself performing frequently in varying styles from classical to hip hop; from playing alongside the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra to acclaimed groups such as Black Violin and Fort Minor of Linkin Park. With a deep conviction of the importance of hope, love and peace, Joseph is set on leaving a positive and lasting affect on whomever he comes into contact with.

Gavin-Rae was born in Kingston, Jamaica on February 5, 1984, but grew up in south Florida. He started singing as a soloist when he was 17 years old. In high school he was a member of the Florida All-state choir as well as the ACDA All-southeastern Men’s choir. He has participated and featured in several concerts by such Christian artists as Larnelle Harris, Steve Green, Helen Baylor, and Calvin Hunt.
When asked why he became a musician, he stated: “I came to know Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior when I was 11 years old. He is and will always be the reason why I sing. I believe God calls and predestines man for His good purpose. My purpose is to reach others through music as well as bring glory to His name.”

Elishia was born in Queens, New York on January 11, 1987. In 2000 she moved to Port Saint Lucie, FL where she resides still.
Elishia has always had an interest in music, especially voice. Over the years she has had the pleasure of singing in several languages and styles, lending her voice to everything from Opera, singing as a first soprano, to Broadway tunes in her high school’s choir (where she received numerous awards).
Elishia is deeply rooted in her Christian faith; in fact it was church hymns which first brought out her musical talent... She is a people-oriented person and is determined to have a positive impact on the world.

During high school he ventured into the world of sound engineering and the business aspects of music. He is now currently enrolled at Miami Dade College, majoring in music business. Fabio’s long term goal is to manage his own record label. Fabio's view on life is to have discipline, turning it into positive habits to be successful. “Enjoy life, live in the moment, plan for the future, and don’t take any day for granted.”
