"Your Life Is Worth..." are the exact words of his mother to him in a relentless effort to get him out of the "fast lane...", and is the main influence of his latest release 'Life Is Worth'. In the song, he has vowed to be "Steady..." on the musical path, and overcome all obstacles in his way.
The cry of his mother, is similar to the plea of many a single mother's cry to their children in this time of economic down-turn, and increase in delinquent activity among youth. Marlyle is sending a strong message to the youth; to listen to the advise of older and wiser persons; for those out of the fast lane, don't get in, and those in it to get out, as there is a better life to live out of the fast lane.
Marlyle has has headlined several shows in Soufriere, the town that he is from, and has opened for St. Lucian Reggae star 'Meshack', as well as Jamaican Icon Freddy Mcgreggor.
