Coming from Atlanta, GA, Marqthemilkman started rapping when he was 16. Influenced heavily by Playboi Carti, Xxxtentacion, and Travis Scott, Marqthemilkman has a keen appreciation for fashion and making music. Before taking his talents to NYC, he emerged on SoundCloud with a few tapes and collaborations with his friends. Rapidly gaining in popularity the Milkman started taking rap seriously in early 2019. His debut project “St. Marq The Baptist” offers his usual against the grain, rebellious attitude and at times outlandish bars but it also offers introspective tracks such as “99”. His latest album and what he considers his TRUE start, “The Jersey Devil” encapsulates what the future has to hold. He wants to be revered in such a way that he becomes mythologized, much like the namesake of the project. With Caribbean and Atlanta ties and now a resident of New York City Marqthemilkman strives to be your boyfriend’s enemy, your girl’s favorite, and the next fashion icon all at the same time. With a careful attention to his inspiration, TheMilkMan is constantly learning new techniques and meshing different styles of music in order to create his own unique sound. He has taken inspiration from the likes of Kurt Cobain and The Police all the way to Michael Jackson and even Beyonce.
