Bio
Marshall Anderson is a songwriter from Dallas,TX who began playing guitar in experimental rock band The Alexander. The band did numerous tours across the Midwest and East Coast of the U.S before moving to New York City. It was there Anderson began to develop his style of songwriting, focusing on lyrics in the form of poetry. The Alexander disbanded in 2007 and Anderson followed drummer Dees Stribling to San Marcos, TX where he furthered his songwriting by performing at Kent Finley's Songwriter Night at legendary Cheatham Street Warehouse. In fall of 2010 he and Pake Rossi (San Marcos, TX) toured the West Coast of the U.S as the "Unknown and Unplugged Tour". During this month long stint Anderson wrote poems which were put to music and comprise the whole of his debut album "A Tyrant's Plea" (Produced by David Beck/Jan. 2011). Anderson is currently living and performing in Austin, TX and hopes to perform as much as possible, everywhere.
