Bio

From the purple depths of New Tecumseth, Ontario, running deep within the dirt of funky, rollin' fast underneath the heavy rock of blues, hip-hoppin' around the dervish swirls of jazz, arises a riveting quartet known as,

Marshall and the Deputies.

Formed in the summer of 2011, the band Marshall and the Deputies started working together shortly after their second showcase event that took place at the local pub in Tottenham called the rusty nail (the band was formerly known as "a thousand acres" at the time). Evan Switzer joined the band's jive jams after he helped organize the showcase for the rusty nail. The band then started on their dangerous quest

Soon after, the band's chemistry imploded. chaos and confusion came from every corner (ooh super exciting!) and mind games became common (rrrriddle me this!!). The band finally found their six shooters and started their target practise. Eventually, they're rigorous shadow boxing practise became something of a new nature and the group was more than ready to take on the public eye.

Marshall and the Deputies had their first show with the Toronto-based band Street Pharmacy at the party-rock extravaganza show in Alliston, Ontario. Shortly after, Marshall and the Deputies started performing shows around Ontario. In places like: Guelph, Hamilton and Newmarket, to put on a good party rock show that had the crowds jumping.

Currently working on their self titled EP, the task force speeds forward to provide a blend of musical styles that produce a juice blend which will further make the audience drip from their ears, shake from their hands and shuffle some fancy footwork.
