Bio
The Marsh Brothers Band is a family affair with a long history -- Brothers Greg and Doug Marsh, their cousin Steve Gillies and brother-from-another-mother Hal Squires began performing together in 1993, and have been honing their irresistible sound ever since. That sound was enhanced considerably when keyboard player Marty Pell joined the band in 2006, and boosted again with the addition of percussionist George Ronetz in 2008.
Primary songwriter Greg Marsh lists among his influences serious songwriters like Neil Young, John Prine, Bob Weir, John Hiatt, Bob Marley and Lowell George, but also comic geniuses like Tom Lehrer and Stan Freberg. The Marsh Brothers Band's music will make you think, laugh, cry -- and dance until your feet hurt!
