Mars Hill Revisited

Mars Hill Revisited

 Ripon, California, USA

As a band, we want to entertain, but more so we want people to open their minds to think about the important things in life, matters of faith, hope, love and spirit. We've been privileged to be part of various festivals, street fairs & non-profit events & we'd love the chance to be part of yours.

MHR is looking forward to what's in store for 2012! Will and Marc are busy writing songs, and the guys are continually experimenting with their ever evolving sound so they can give their best effort to the ministry God has called them to. In case you didn't know the story of how MHR came to be, it started out a couple years ago on a Friday night in a bookstore with brothers Will and Mike Clark playing worship music and some cover tunes with an accoustic guitar, bass guitar, and a couple of microphones. Eventually, the band expanded to include other musicians. In early 2008, the band added lead guitar player Marc Putnam. 2008 came their first chance to record some original music. The resulting cd entitled "It's No Mystery", produced by Bob Kilpatrick, is available at Beardsley's Book and Bible in Modesto, CA, or by contacting the band through their website at . In 2010 the band recorded a three song EP that received radio play in the central valley and bay area. Currently the guys have enough new material for a new recording, which they hope to be able to make happen sometime soon. Keep checking back for updates and, in the mean time, check out one (or many) of their shows!
Our influences range from 3 Doors Down to Jeremy Camp, Jack Johnson, Creed, Alter Bridge, and so many in between.
