Marston Smith

In the 1990's Marston was a professional recording studio musician living in LA and played on hundreds of films and albums when on one a windy day in November 1993 a wild fire swept down a Malibu canyon. Marston dumped all his cellos and art collection into the swimming pool and got the fire pump working. All 400 homes in the canyon burned and Marston ended up under a burning rowboat in the pool.
Marston never went back to the studios and or played cello until he found that music had to mean something personal. That is when this courageous heroes thing took over and he mounted his electric on Medieval Battle Armour and began performing on the street and then at fairs and swapmeets and eventually for Cirque du Soleil, International Jazz Festivals, and Corporate event all over the world.

In the old days he had recorded with the Back Street Boys, KISS, Outkast, Barry Manilow, Earth Wind & Fire,and Rod Stewart. But now he performs live for Rupert Murdock, Tony Blair, Clinton, Schwarzenegger, and corporate appearances for Toshiba, Toyota, General Mills, Universal/Segrams, Warner Brothers, Disney, Fox, NFL, PGA, Google, Microsoft, etc,.

He appears on television for QVC and for the openings of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Recent album, Peace of our Minds, is collaboration with actor/pianist John O’Hurley and it reached number 13 on Billboard. New Years Eve he performs at the Kodak-Hollywood for a broadcast to the 1.5 Billion folks in China.
