the legendary brazilian superstar singer
and international carnival show icon ...
Known as the "Queen of the Tic Tic Tac" - Platinum Album which sold over 4,000,000 albums in 1996 gained global fame and performed LIVE at the International Billboard Awards in Los Angeles.
Raulin began her career in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she was born. Her first production was in 1982 with Rock Group Ligacao Direta. In 1983 she performed at carious Carnivals in Salvador Bahia, signing with "Trios Electricos". There she recorderd Maraxe her second album. With hard work and dedication she recorded her third album in 1985, called Muevete. In 1998, she recorded Meneate becoming a huge hit. By 1990, the Lambada fever was spread around the world, which helped her receive her first Gold selling album " Lambada Tropical". In 1993, she formed a duo with ex-Menudo Roy Rosello called "Roy & Raulin" and recorded "Seduction" which was a mix of Latin Music and Lambada. Her biggest hit came in 1996 with the song "Tic Tic Tac" .
During her caerer, Marta Raulin has been recognized by Premio Lo Nuestro, has been nominated for a Latin Grammy has achieved a Platinum & Gold Albums.
