Bio
Marta started her musical journey at the tender age of five. She has studied at the prestigious choir school - ‘’Rigas Doma Kora Skola’’ and sang in a popular ensemble ‘’Rigas juras akmentini’’. She has participated in various vocal competitions including, Okartes skatuve (Ocard stage) show and the Ocard Stage musical ‘’Dzimuši muzikai’’ (Born for music). She has written music for a dance show ‘’Mes esam celotaji’’ (We are the travelers). At the beginning of this year she got a 3rd place at the Latvian Eurovision super finals.
Marta has been compared to a Latvian version of Norah Jones. Marta writes all of her music and performs it live with a piano
