Bio
Martha Meredith and her band are invading Toronto with their indie space pop. Guaranteed to leave a melody on your mind, this mix of pretty piano and spacey electic guitar with clever, catchy lyricism is impossible to resist.
Having released her debut EP in October, Martha has since been writing, recording and performing new songs with her new band. She recently placed first in the Landmark Showcase competition at the Mod Club and has been featured in Toronto blogs 'OTM Magazine', and 'Songs and Cigarettes.' People come out in throngs to listen to her intimate and immediate songwriting and enticing live performance. In the last year she has worked with producers Matt Thibideau, Mark Thibideau, James Robertson and Matt Froese, and joined the music collective Distant Cousins Music. Martha is just about to begin recording her full length album and is already planning a tour across Canada to expand her fanbase. Wherever Martha plays, new fans are made.
