David's Farm

Written By: Tony Vincent Isaacs

Like a Precious talisman held in my palm,
is the hope you gave to me on David's Farm.
In a spell you put on me a soothing balm.
In your voice my destiny on David's Farm.

Shadows darken, Twilight falling.
Can you hear the night train restless calling.

Let me spend another day in blissfull calm.
Let us keep the world away from David's Farm.

Shadows darken, Twilight falling.
Can you hear the night train restless calling.

Now my heart has learned to sing a loving psalm,
I'll remember early spring on David's Farm.

Chelsea Sunrise

Written By: Tony Vincent Isaacs

I woke and opened my eyes on a Chelsea sunrise.
The streets were quiet the buildings still asleep.
A chirpy sparrow landed upon my window sill,
then flew down along the Thames with me up-on his wings.

We circled little houseboats in that Chelsea sunrise.
The river, curling a slowly winding silk.
The bridges freshly painted looked up to azure skies
with a genuine surprise in that Chelsea sunrise.

Do you remember the bridges? the houseboats?
the path by Cheyne Walk?
I can not see them now without seeing you,
though I’m alone in London and you are in far New York.

I dream you’ll wake up with me to a Chelsea sunrise,
look down on King’s Road as we have done before.
I’ll end this note by saying my life is in your hands.
My hands are joined in praying to spirits of the lands,
that lie between us touching to bring you home again.
Straight as an arrow flies to my Chelsea Sunrise.
