Biography

Many will recognize Marty Belafsky as “Crutchy” from the Disney cult hit musical “Newsies”. Having been doing stand-up full time since graduating from college just four years ago Marty now brings his insane brand of physical comedy and broad characterization to the stage and has developed a large and loyal fan following across the country that goes berserk for his zany stories and bizarre observations. He was beloved by the late Rodney Dangerfield and was always his opening act at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Known as the “tall, skinny guy” on MTV his credits include “American Sweethearts,” “Men In Black 2,” “A Mighty Wind,” “Six Feet Under”, Late Night Friday and the Dec. 2005 release of Funny Money with Chevy Chase, plus lot’s of TV comedy shows.
