Hello!
I've been a pro bass player for thirty-five years and have probably played most of the top popular tunes that have been written, as well as having done my share of bizzare gigs, concerts, casuals, showcases, commercials, dealing with traumatic soundmen, producers who like purple bass lines and clients blowing cigar smoke in my lead singers face while admiring her hips.
I've written and composed music all of my life, and have been impressed by the effects that a killer dance song has on an audience. I've played classical gigs where people were swooned, or snored, by wonderful or not-so-wonderful music and shows with sexy dancers and the whole shot. But when a classic rock or whatever--style-great-beat-dance tune slams into a bunch of eardrums at a party people seem to go free. I like that.
I wanted to both contribute to the happiness of as many people that I could as well as make as much money as I can so decided to write a commercial rock song targeting primarily the Baby Boomerish era.
Why not?
So I studied up on the key elements of all of these tunes I've been playing for years and cranked out "Right Where I Want."
