Martyrs of the Apollo Guild

BandAlternativeRock

We are a community, we play for you, we want to spread ideas, we want equality, we wear black as a symbol, we will do everything in our power to be heard, we play loud, we fill the room with our sound, we love, we live, and we want more than anything for this Earth to be at peace and harmony.

Biography

A reflection of the past, a commentary on the present and a hope for the near future. We draw influences from Fugazi, The Murder City Devils, At the Drive-In, The Beatles, The Mars Volta, Radiohead, Botch, Caspian, mewithoutYou, Akimbo, The Red Light Sting, and Les Savy Fav. We don’t really like to set ourselves apart from anyone because everyone that is involved with music is essentially trying to do the same thing, and that is expressing themselves. You could say that some are better than others, or that this band is more commercially successful, but we just stay true to ourselves and what we want to create. Our music is an honest representation of who we are as people and a family. We are a group of social misfits that essentially grew up either in the same town or went to the same high school or local college. We met through hatred and love, but we all came together committed to a singular idea through music. This is our life.

Discography

We have a variety of demos at our disposal but our first Professional release is a six track EP entitled "The Destruction of the Apollo Guild at the hands of the Wolfpack" on Modern Alchemy records. Our music can be heard on the college station in Bellingham 98.3 KUGS.
