Andean and Afro-Andean styles including Saya, Huayno and Festejo. Maru, short for Marisol and Ruth, are a Peruvian duo and one of three finalists in 2006 for Best Folk Song at Vina del Mar, Chile, the prestigious Latin singer/songwriter contest.
