I Samuel 16:16, "Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hands, and thou shall be well."---

Marvin Glaspie's entire life has revolved around music. Growing up in Memphis,TN. he was heavily influenced at a young age by 70's and 80's music such as funk, reggae, gospel, and rap. Marv also played drums for his church as a kid and later he played the snare in his high school marching band. At the age of 14, Marv moved to New Orleans with his Mom and two sisters and by the time he was 17 he began disc jockeying at local nightclubs. By the age of 22, Marv had become one of the hottest DJ's in the New Orleans club scene. But soon he would come to the most pivotal point in his life. This was a matter of life and death and Marv chose life. At 22 years old, Marv chose to give his heart and dedicate his entire life to the Lord Jesus Christ with total reckless abandon of the world and all it had to offer him. He joined a Bible-believing, Holy Ghost filled ministry, (Smoking For Jesus Ministry of N.O.,LA.) and has been striving to live holy and pursue God's perfect will for his life. Two years later, Marv, along with a couple of on-fire young rappers in the same minstry, began Sound Minds Ministry, a Christian Rap group, under the leadership of their Pastor, Elder Willie Monnet, Sr. But they didn't have any music to go along with their lyrics. Then Marv purchased his first drum machine and began learning how to make beats. Through God's anointing, he began producing hot tracks and recording for the group. Marv has now been the in-house producer for 5 years. Now God has given him the vision for Marv4MoBeats Productions where he has set out to produce track for other endeavoring Christian artists. He desires to help up and coming Christian artists who don't have a producer so that they don't have to settle for the use of secular tracks or producers. Marv brings to the the table an anointing that comes from his uncompromising faith and a freshness and originality that is not easily identifiable with the world.
