Lyrics

What I Need From You

Written By: Mary Ann Coty

I don't have a lot of wants and needs.
"Honey won't you buy it for me please?"
You know that never was my style.
All I need is the love you give me and to know that you really need.
And your million dollar smile.
CHORUS
I don't need a great big bank account.
Honey that's not what it's all about.
Your love is 24 karat gold.
Say you love me when I'm old.
That's what I wanna be told.
That's WHAT I NEED FROM YOU
VERSE
I don't need a brand new shiny car .
I don't want to travel to far .
Where my heart is that's where I'll be.
I don't need a great big fancy house.
When I want to find you. I don't want to shout.
I need you by me.
CHORUS
BRIDGE
Money has a way of getting spent.
You had a lot of it and there it went.
But true love will last you through the years.
Through the laughter and the tears.
That's what it's meant to do.
VERSE
I don't have a lot of wants and needs.
"Honey won't you buy it for me please?"
You know that never was my style.
All I need is the love you give me.
And to know that you really need me.
And your million dollar smile.
CHORUS
I don't need a great big bank account.
Honey that's not what it's all about.
Your love is 24 Karat gold.
Say you love me when I'm really.
That's what I wanna be told.
That's WHAT I NEED FROM YOU.

Minor Delays

Written By: Mary Ann Coty

Stepping stones on the way.
To things you've just got to see to be.
Whoever you're supposed to be.
VERSE
When the clouds come and cover up your big bright sun.
And you once where two and now you know your only one.
Don't you ever let it get you down.

Their just your MINOR DELAYS.
Stepping stones on the way.
To things you've just got to see to be whoever you're supposed to be.
VERSE
I made a decision and like a fool I was wrong again.
Like I've done someone wrong somewhere, but I can't remember when.
But I refuse to let it get me down because...
CHORUS
They're just my MINOR DELAYS.
Stepping stones on the way.
To things I just got to see.
To be whoever I'm suppose to be.
VERSE
Everybody's counting on you and you're feeling week, when you know you got to be strong.
And everything you try to do,comes out upside down backwards, and somehow wrong.
Don't you ever let it get you down!!
CHORUS
They're just your MINOR DELAYS.
Stepping stones on the way to things you just got to see to be,whoever you're supposed to be.
REPEAT CHORUS
