Bio

Mary Jeras was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. Being surrounded by music all her life, she quickly began to study piano, dance, and music history. Mary made her first on stage debut when she was 8 years old next to her aunt Natassa, who was a very well known actress and singer. When she was 18 she “found” her voice and knew she wanted to sing Soul, R&B, and Jazz.

Her first collaboration in the music industry was the song "Better Dayz" produced by Bo, a well known rap star in Greece. After that she quickly remade Chaka Khan's "Ain't Nobody" the summer of 2005 produced by Phat Jack.

Her next step in her carreer is when she had 2 hits, "All This Love", and "Underwater" which was placed in the movie Eduart. Both songs were collaborated with Dimi Phaze, a well known producer in Europe. Both songs were released along with 2 more of her songs on the CD Season One which was released in December of 2005.

Mary got her big break in Greece when she was part of the 12 to be chosen out of 500,000 contestants to be on the fourth season of the hit show Fame Story. She made it to the finals and won an award of best performance. Soon there after she participated in the Eurovision contest doing backing vocals for the song “Comme Si Comme Ca”, sung by Greek popstars Dimitris Korialas and Evridiki.

This singer/songwriter became a full time singing sensation in the underground world of Athens performing at popular venues such as Dimou Athinon, Stavro Tou Notou, and Architektonas on a daily basis.

Only a few months after her name continued to buzz in the Greek music community, she was hand picked by Elena Paparizou,(winner of the 2005 Eurovision contest) to sing along side her on her summer tour and stayed on board for the nightly performances during the winter at the very popular venue, Thalassa people’s stage.

Currently she has released her single “Pes To”, that has received raving reviews and is also performing in Greece’s version of RENT.
