ASCAP Songwriter


I am a singer/songwriter from Durban,South Africa.My style is mainly R&B Pop however I have also written songs in the Gospel,Dance and Country Pop genres.I received a  Music Diploma from the ICBC School of Music in 2004 where I majored in Classical Piano and Jazz,Pop and Gospel Vocals.

I was also the school's Honor student in both 2003 and 2004.In 2006 I was accepted into the Independent Artist Program at Musicians Institute in Hollywood,California.I have also written for South African artists Musa Zondi,39 Stripes and Zama.

My notable achievements so far are winning the Wimpy 40th Birthday Competition where I wrote a jingle for the South African fast food chain in 2007.In 2008 a song that I co-wrote won the Regional Finals of the Standard Bank In Tune Song Festival.I also got an opportunity to perform with South African Pop Artist Jae in 2009. 

Rodney Jerkins gave me positive feedback for my song 'Chaotic' in the Rodney Jerkins Songwriter/Producer Search in 2010.I also received positive reviews from the judges for my song 'Just Be You' in the 2011 Billboard Songwriting Contest.In 2012 I went to the ASCAP I Create Music Expo where Eric Bellinger gave me positive feedback after hearing 'Chaotic' during our One on One Session.
