As a rap group we seek to not only be heard, we seek to make a difference to those that get to hear this music. We don't do all that much different from what is already being done today, the simple fact of the matter is we just do everything better. We strive to release classics every song we drop, nothing just to keep our name in the streets. We feel that being simply the best everytime out will speak for us. As Mash Cru we have been heavily influenced by some of the artists out now as well as those that no longer grace the mic.
We grew up bumping a lot of Mobb Deep, we get that grimey style from them. A little bit of Cam'ron and the Diplomats give us some flare. There are countless others that I can't name due to brevity.
This "Cru Business" is not just a rap group and it's not just the songs, we are trying to start a movement. We have our own "Boss Lingo", we get inspiration from the block and we intend on giving that inspiration back to the block and, much sooner than later, the rest of the world.
