Biography

Grand Rapids, Michigan based singer/songwriter, now resides in Houston Texas, Mason grew up singing and dreamed of becoming a recording artist listening to legendary artists such as Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison. He used those great vocalists as an inspiration to start writing songs in his teens. His credits include the EP Big City released in early 2006 featuring six original tracks, including a background in theater, while maintaining his membership of the Grand Rapids Opera Chorus. Big City established Mason as a recognizable talent and "Money" quickly became an Internet hit. Some people describe him as Josh Groban meets Savage Garden, a compelling and thought provoking combination to say the least. Using all of the energy and success of Big City as springboard, Mason is currently working on his sophomore set.

Mason integrates a wide range of influences that paint his songs with unique textures of pop/adult contemporary sounds. Despite not playing an instrument, like many new songwriters today, he offers interconnected lyrics, captivating melodies, and soaring vocals that moves listeners into an arousing state that demands attention.
