Masood Ali Khan PhD. Born in London to Muslim Indian parents is a musician of eclectic qualities from Didgeridoo, guitar, to hand drums.
A practitioner of yoga for over 25 years with an innate desire to help humanity and be spiritually connected.
He recorded his first album within the anticipated 'The Yoga Sessions™' Series, where he plays the enchanting new percussive instrument, a hand pan called the 'Hang'drum (pronounced "Hung").
Masood brings his unique sound and performance to the new age and world genre and rapidly growing yoga and devotional music movement by combining the power of the Heart and Mind's healing potential to help humanity.
He creates storytelling compositions with captivating melodies to inspire the spiritual being within the human.
His music has received top 10 listings, nods and rave reviews from Yoga Journal, LA yoga Magazine, Light of Consciousness, Bhakti Beat and other online published reviews as well radio airplays on: The BBC (Musical Rickshaw), KPFK (The Global Village), Mantra Radio, New World Kirtan and WPRI (In the Spirit).

After a phenomenal debut album 'The Yoga Sessions:Masood Ali Khan' that spread like wild fire though the yoga and hang drum world Masood then released his second album 'The Yoga Sessions:Hang with Angels:Masood Ali Khan', the fifth release in the critically acclaimed The Yoga Sessions series from Yoga Organix and White Swan Records.

Eleven tracks of original compositions feature vocal performances from Suzanne Sterling, Visvambhar Sheth (Mayapuris), Kamaniya Devi (Prema Hara), Lisbeth Scott, Sheela Bringi (PremaSoul), Radha Rosen (Govindas & Radha), Terra Gold and Monica Page. The world class cast of instrumentalists includes renowned flautist Steve Gorn, Go-Ray & Duke, Clinton Patterson (PremaSoul), Ray Ippolito (As Kindred Spirits) and global percussionist Marla Leigh.

Buoyed by master musicians from around the world, the recording is studded with ethereal, meditative and richly-colored soundscapes especially designed for savasana and also ideally suited for wellness applications such as meditation and bodywork, or as beautiful atmospheric music for a mellow evening.

His third album project a is 'Mantra Grooves' and debut as solo producer and publisher. A collaboration with long time friend and author Yogi Cameron, Masood created music for specific mantras that Yogi Cameron teaches in his latest book 'The One Plan'. This musically eclectic album some features LA's finest yoga music stars some who appeared on Hang with Angels, new collaborations with the band Aykanna, Deepak Ramapriyan (BOLT) and MJ Greeenmountain (Hamsa Lilla), offering essential mantras expressed as Americana, traditional Indian, Reggae Dub and Tribal dance.

His music has been licensed for a'Occupy Love' a full length feature movie and many yoga dvd projects the latest is a DVD for master yoga teacehr Peter Sterios for 'Gravity and Grace~ Yoga for Longevity' which was filmed at the Eselan Institute Big Sur by Mikki Willis of Elevate Films.
He was for some time head of the teaching faculty at 'The Open International University for Complementary Medicines' in Colombo, Sri Lanka where he gained a diploma of acupuncture and his PhD. Masood is very well known as a top International fashion model and one of the original male supermodels and is also expanding his career as an actor.
