"REVIEW FROM ERIC OF THE DEAD"

The Fantastic Four. Ghostbusters. History has given us some memorable quartets. The same could be said about a Chicago-based rock band, known to their fans as Mass Chemistry. What started as a group of musicians brought together by circumstance (one of those circumstances being Craigslist) this band quickly grew into their own; evolving style and sound to reach a pinnacle of musical harmony. Whether live or recorded, listeners can't help but tap feet and nod heads to Mass Chemistry's every beat.

Vocalist (and lyricist) Will Kelley's hypnotizing tone perfectly compliments the modern-rock stylings of Gino Buonamici's guitar. Siblings Brandon and Aaron Becker round off the crew, lending intense rhythmic timing on bass and drums respectively. While some of Mass Chemistry's singles conform to modern rock stylings (You Know, Dark Days) – other pieces (Shadows, Nothing Can Keep Me From You) harken back to the '70's and '80's classic rock god's who inspired them. Whether they're paying tribute to those who blazed rock 'n roll's path, or constructing a new trail with every note, Mass Chemistry will stimulate your eardrums. Maybe even your heartstrings. - EricMH

"PENS EYE VIEW INTERVIEW"

"...we’ve featured awesome band after awesome band from the windy city as of late, and it continues today with Mass Chemistry. Will Kelley, Gino Buonamici and Brandon and Aaron Becker have only been performing together for about a year, but the foursome has been accomplishing big things." "Their self-titled debut is the type of album you can play at just about any time" - Pens Eye View

"IMD REVIEW OF SELF TITLED RELEASE"

"The CD makes a pretty solid first impression. Right from the start you will notice rich musical textures overflowing everywhere, full of melody, variety, & heartfelt vocal delivery. I would classify this music as alternative rock with a hard rocking power pop aftertaste. The songs themselves are addictive, complete with thoughtful subject matter & clever vocal hooks & melodies. The musicianship of this band is pretty solid across the board. The players themselves write, & play there parts extremely well. Along the way you will notice lush layers of instrumentation. Equally as impressive is the vocal presence of Will as he takes many vocal risks throughout the CD indicating to me a strong & confident vocal ability. All songs are short & sweet musical experiences, never too winded, never to short."

"MASS CHEMISTRY EMERGES VICTORIOUS AS ROCKWIRED.COM'S MAY ARTIST OF THE MONTH!!!"

"Despite being together for a little more than a year, Mass Chemistry has come a long way with the release of their flawlessly, self-produced, self-titled debut CD. Guitarist GINO BUONAMICI and vocalist WILL KELLEY are the band's founders and the band's primary songwriters. With their winning Page/Plant styled rock n' roll strategy in place, BUONAMICI and KELLEY lay down their bombastic hard rock sound with a vengance and the jewels in the crown of their electrifying debut are the tracks SHADOWS, YOU KNOW and EVERYTHING."
