Mass Transit Authority may seem like your average, run of the mill, local rock band, and you would be wrong.They aren't even a blip on Most people's radars until you see them.I saw them for the fist time at the Stardust coffee and film.I came in for a coffee and left as a fan.They played an hour of the best music I have ever heard come out of Orlando, or anywhere for that matter.The drummer has complete control over rhythm as we know it.You can't even keep up with his hands if you wanted too.Johnny Lewis(Bass Player) brought on a slew of funky, gospel chords and runs that would make James Brown smirk with approval.Finally, the lead singer;though small in stature, Andrew Beckner sings his lungs out every night.He put more energy into this Stardust show than I have seen anyone do in any sized venue.After the show I immediately bought a copy of their Man On Wire EP and a shirt.They change the entire atmosphere with hteir music, seamlessly flowing from one anthem to the next.I am hooked on this band- Stephanie Roberts - Real Life Magazine
