Master Darrell Brown

Uncompromising, steadfast, devoted, gifted, anointed, Holy Ghost filled, are just a few words used to describe Master Darrell Brown. Born in New York to Edward and Debora, Darrell was set aside by God to minister through music at an early age. This psalmist, songwriter and pianist began singing in the Bible Church of Christ Gospel Choir at the age of four.

He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of eight under Dr. Roy Bryant, Jr. of Christian Federation Ministries. In 1999, he and his mother relocated to Woodbridge, VA where they became members of Word of Faith Christian Fellowship. Under the tutelage of Bishop Duane I. Coats, Sr. and Co-Pastor Jeanette Y. Coats, Darrell continued to grow in the Lord as part of the music department and other ministries. Later, he was appointed as a pianist for Word of Faith (WOF) choirs and praise teams. He continued to grow in this capacity allowing the anointing of God to help him encourage people to praise the Lord through music and through the gift of exaltation.

Today, Master Brown’s music ministry has expanded to include: Head of the WOF music department, lead pianist for WOF choirs and praise teams, a background singer for Restine Jackson and a member of the world renowned Howard University Gospel Choir.

Darrell’s latest accomplishments include: completing his demo CD and being accepted to Howard University. Darrell plans on continuing to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through music. He has a desire to allow the Lord to use him for His glory. Flowing in a prophetic anointing and being chosen for such a time as this, Darrell has made his mind up to live holy and he has a word in his spirit for this generation and those to come.

Master Brown has vision and knows that with God his vision will come to fruition. He knows that God is taking him somewhere as he is often heard by saying, “see you at the top.”
