Mastermind Einstein

Muhammad Austin aka “Mastermind Einstein” Artist/Producer/Emcee was born and raised in Pallet town a small community located in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Mastermind is a Hip-hop artist who produces, performs, writes music and also the leader of music group/label M.M.E. Mastermind is nominated for three Saint Louis Hiphop awards, including producer of the year. All of Mastermind’s music proceeds goes towards his college tuition funding and keeping himself in school by using his musical talents.

Mastermind was first introduced to music at a young age by his father. He started playing playing percussions with the reggae band the “Reggae muffins” at the age of 5 giving him a knack for rhythm. Around the age of 13 he began experimenting and producing for artists and even had a publishing deal on the table with EMI in 2007 with young singer/songwriter Rachel Nevels. At the age of 16 Mastermind started pursing rap seriously with a passion. Expressing himself through his melodies, unique production, blending/mixing genres, and his well delivered lyrics Mastermind quickly made a name for himself, and his crew M.M.E.

M.M.E. was created by Muhammad and Amir Wakil in 2009, The LLC today consists of five artists. M.M.E. is considered to be the best Freshman class group out of St.Louis, thus meaning the new artist on the scene, yearning to bring change to musical forefront.
Since it’s creation M.M.E. has released five albums so far, which we are all produced by Mastermind himself. M.M.E. plays a defining role in the career of Mastermind, as he produces, writes, engineers, & manage, for the artists including himself.

When mentioning Mastermind as a “Rapper/Producer” another critical aspect of him stands out. Ever since 2009 Mastermind has been paying for his own college tuition. As Muhammad Graduated high school and prepared for this college world, he dropped his first project with M.M.E. “College Tuition”, hence the name. He had a large balance to pay in order for him to attend a prerequisite summer program at Loyola University, him and his crew managed to make 2,000 plus dollars within a couple of weeks, and he was able to enroll due to his work ethic with his music. All of his musical proceeds went towards keeping himself in school pursing his musical endeavors. Back in December 2010 he was faced with a big challenge since he had gotten denied for his student loans. He only had a month to make a couple thousands dollars in order to stay in enrolled. He released his debut project F.A.I.L.(Forver Always In last) written and produced by himself. All of his proceeds went towards his college tuition, selling enough records allowing him to stay in school at Loyola University for his second semester of his sophomore year. The album was a great success gaining him public attention around notice even making “The Vouge’s Life” list of top 20 album from 2010 coming in at number 19.

Mastermind’s next project will be called “A.D.D. (Artistically Day Dreaming) written, produced, and engineered entirely by him. A.D.D. ventures into the imaginative mind of Mastermind Einstein giving the listeners a glimpse of his day dreams. His first single off of the album hit the web and set a blaze to the blogs. Becoming the top played song that month on the www.NHH.com. A.D.D. is due out early Spring.

Spending time in three different cities gives Mastermind a vast & Loyal Fanbase, from St.Louis to New Orleans And Now Atlanta The artist plans on continuously spreading his movement as far as him and his fans can reach.
