Bio
Since forming in 2009, Masters In France have gone from strength to strength, gaining support from Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, Jen Long & Greg James along the way.
This year they’ve taken their infectious guitar-laden tracks on a UK tour and performed at Radio One’s Big Weekend in May, earning Radio 1 playlist success in the process.
Having released a string of singles throughout 2011, including Mad Hatter on Too Pure, MiF are now set to release their debut EP Inhale through their own imprint, Bone Dry Records.
Recorded at Ferlas Studios, North Wales, by Rich James Roberts and the band themselves, Inhale rejuvenates the bands angular stabbing guitar lines and danceable beats by adding a hard-hitting and rockier edge than has been seen in the band’s previous output.
Inhale’s five tracks see the band drift between huge walls of sound (Greyhounds), jerky dance-punk (A.I) and four-to-the-floor beats (Little Girl), what doesn’t drift however is their sense of purpose, this is MiF’s most focused set of songs yet.
