Matías Cena (born 1987) released Casa sin Fuego in March 2014, an album that comprise his musical versatility, and compositional quality. Recorded immediately after their previous album, this board continues along the roads of the country, the western, rock & roll and sometimes melancholic sounds.
Matias Cena's career has been prolific and growing each time. At the beginning he belong into a singer songwriter music scene in Santiago, Chile. By the end of the 2000s he performed and recorded accompanied by backing bands as rock & roll and country music defined his sound. Once signed by the independent record label, Algo Records he releases Arauco Cajún (2012), and El Vuelo de los Albatros (2013) that won critical acclaim and the singer conquered new audience.
With his last LP Casa sin Fuego Matías Cena started his music internationalization with a performance at Primavera Fauna festival in Barcelona, adding more dates in Spain. Soon after he took part at SIM festival in Sao Paolo, Brazil, and also did some shows in Argentina.
By the end of 2014, Casa sin Fuego was highlighted among various rankings of the best albums of the year, such Remezcla (New York), Mute (Buenos Aires), and Rockaxis (Chile) to name some.
