Bio
Hailing from Pottstown, PA, Matilde Heckler is a cutting-edge young violinist and singer/songwriter pushing the boundaries of the traditionally classical instrument. She was classically trained for 10 years, having grown up playing in orchestras, small ensembles, and for weddings. She now has strayed away from her traditional upbringing to create new sounds. She uses a series of pedals and a looping system to create an incredibly unique sound. Fusing indie rock, alternative, and emo music, her music is unlike any other. She attends the Berklee College of Music and is studying Violin Performance and Music Education.
