Musicgoers, with their portable folding chairs, strollers and water bottles, walked around to the different houses listening to a mixture of folk, classic rock and reggae.
About two dozen people gathered in front of Sarah Lowry’s house to hear the Matt Irie Band play reggae music. Lowry said she and her husband have lived at 708 Cypress St. for two years and they liked the idea of having a music festival to celebrate the neighborhood.
Lowry said it was good to see neighbors and people from outside the community having fun and getting to know each other.

Coming from Greensboro NC but now based out of Phoenix AZ, fresh off an incredible and extremely active performing year, Matt Irie Band has become one of the most recognizable names in the scene, with an incredible live show & all around great stage presence these guys are leaving a big mark on the scene.
With styles influenced by Alternative Rock, Blues, World, Hip Hop & more. Fans are provided with an original & energetic sound from the Matt Irie Band. These boys have been on the road with bands such as Jonathan Davis of Korn, Larry Keel, Tim Reynolds, Motionless in White, Pepper, Stick Figure, Etana, The Green, Kellie Pickler, Mipso, Lamb of God & more.
They have been featured on top radio stations 102.1 KFMA & 99.1 out of Tucson & Alt 93.3 based out of Phoenix.
