Matt Johncox, the musician from Marion NY has been described as a rough,rugged,charming,intelligent gentleman with a deep and powerful voice with a personality to match. Since the very young age of 7 years old Matt knew he wanted to make great music and be a super star on the world wide level. Determined to bring a positive message of free thinking to the table, he is doing just that. Through many trials and tribulations of jail, being poor, single mom, drugs, murder,sex that you can hear all though out his music, he has over came many obstacles to get this point in his career. With confidence in his voice, that sometimes people confuse with cockiness, its no wonder he would say things like "when you are this good,its just a matter of how hard you will grind and what lengths you will go to to shine". Matt has said many time " I'm all the way in", and it dose not look like hes slowing up any time soon .
With many small accolades to add to his resume with such things as out of state concerts and small tours in Upstate NY. (Almost 100 shows already in his career) Being on national mixtapes. Music videos, radio play, radio interviews, magazine write ups ETC. It's no wonder why Johncox is on a path to a success.
Matt is set to release his next CD titled #AllByMyself in the fall of 2014. Also, he will be working with some big name artist and going on another national tour. Also, there is talks of an over seas European Tour in winter of 2014.
