Matt Chandler is currently the Music Pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church in Bozeman Montana. A gifted singer and songwriter, Matt combines musical skill with his passion for leading God’s people in worship. Matt has traveled the country performing in venues of all sizes, and his music has touched thousands of lives.
Matt Chandler’s debut album “I Am Yours” is a thought provoking collection of melody rich, and intensely worshipful songs. “There is a definite theme of surrender in this album” says Chandler, “all the songs came from places of brokenness and renewal”. Born and raised in Massachusetts, music became a passion for Matt at an early age. After graduating high school in 2000, Matt traveled with Christian singing group “Wings Of Morning” for one year. After his time in Wings, he went on to attend Boston Baptist College, in Boston, Massachusetts. Graduating in 2005 from college, Matt and his new wife Rachel moved to Cape Cod to minister with Pastor Ben Feldott at Cape Cod Church in East Falmouth. In 2006, Matt was offered the Music Pastor position at Fellowship Baptist Church in Bozeman, Montana. “I have a heart for the local Church and for leading God’s people in worship” says Chandler, “It’s an all consuming passion.” Every track on this album points the listener back to Jesus Christ. There is no question that Matt Chandler strikes the right chord with his debut album, leaving us wanting more from this up and coming artist!
