Bio
My name is Matt, I'm 30 years old, self employed sub-contractor. Three years ago I was in an original band named Locus. Things didn't work out so I set out to become a solo artist. Listening to people like Ben Lee, Wolfmother, Nirvana. I was reminded that simple was effective, and catchy. This revelation ending my bout of writers block, my first solo effort was conceived.and a demo was recorded, it's called "LOST", and consists of 13 original tracks. I have endeavoured to fill my demo with songs from different genres as I am a lover of all good music, and alot of different styles have influenced my development as a musician. Also, alot of really good artists and bands bring out fantastic music, but all the songs sound similar. This is another thing I wanted to avoid.
I'm planning to wrap up my business within the next six months and hit the road of uncertainty, and follow my dream. To be a professional musician.
