Matthew Chaim has been on our radar ever since he's released his first single, which we premiered on IX Daily. The new-wave R&B singer has been working with some of the best producers out of Canada for his songs and we just can't get enough of it. "Vanilla Ways" is his first track of 2016, and we can't find one reason not to put it out there for everyone to hear. Released through Montreal label JUS POP! the Noah Barer, Cavewerk and Francis Duchesne produced track is their debut on the music scene, and they picked right.

The track sees Matthew Chaim moving closer to his r&b influences while still incorporating his new age hip hop foundation. his raw lyrical abilities with warm toned vocals to create something that sounds all around fresh.

Matthew’s start in music came from writing punchline rap, influenced greatly by Childish Gambino’s early mixtapes. Matthew continued to grow as a writer and soon introduced singing to his repertoire, while maintaining the lyrical drive he started with, Matthew now puts forth strong feelings of R&B soul and emotion in his music. - IX Daily

Up and coming Montreal singer Matthew Chaim is back with a new single by the name of “Untitled”. The smooth song features production from Noah Barer & Cavewerk as Chaim travels through time and reflects on his career-infused desires. Chaim’s subtle vocals and conversational-styled lyrics blend for an easygoing delivery that can be appreciated at any hour of the day.

In a press release, the concept behind the song’s name is further explained: “This song is called ‘Untitled’ because it’s song about writing songs. At some point, all songs are ‘Untitled’.”

Emerging Montreal-based music maker Matthew Chaim has released an infectious new offering, a hip-hop infused cut which is simply called "Untitled."

According to Chaim, the song's lack of a proper title stems from the fact that it's a song "about writing songs," explaining that it's a reflection of his being "pushed to grow as a person and as a writer by those around me."

Produced by Noah Barer and Cavewerk, the new track follows Chaim's previous offering "Vanilla Ways."
