Bio
For the last 25 years, plus my years as a student, I have had an interesting and widely varied career in the performing arts. Music is at the centre of my focus , but also I have explored many other disciplines, such as; Theatre, Musical Theatre, Contemporary / Modern Dance, multimedia, and Performance Art.
I have been a prolific session musician and have recorded with many of Canadas finest, such as Don Ross, Mike Stevens, Hemingway Corner and Katherine Wheatley to name a few. There are more than 40 discs on my Discography on a variety of Major and Independent labels.
I am also an Arts Educator and Facilitator; running many Workshops in,and teaching;Voice, Theartre, Music and Dance as well as teaching privately and publicly.
My styles are eclectic. I play Guitar, All forms of Percussion including Mallets, Drum Kit and Piano. I am also a trained Vocalist and have had experience in Music Theatre as well as Fronting my own and other groups. My vocal styles also include Throat and Harmonic Singing.
I have Composed, Produced and Performed music within all of the aforementioned disciplines and have had many exiting and ground breaking collaborations as well. My experiences and highlights are to numerous to list, but include tours of North America and Europe as well as many prestigious venues.
Being a Singer / Song Writer is also an important part of my varied creative life. I keep my songs close to home and only write about what Im impelled to.
