My sound:
Most of my music has a melancholic melodic feel with driving rhythms at times. I write pretty things. Think Nick Drake, Radiohead, Elliott Smith - but way less good.
My performance:
I take my performance seriously - I write about gut wrenching introspective experiences and hope emotionally affect those the audience. Most of the time I will be solo. At times I will have a friend to play additional parts.
Me:
I'm a mental health clinician. Born in SF and grew up in Modesto CA and now live in Oakland. Modesto gets a bad rap but it helped shaped me and has a vibrant music/poetry scene.
