Growing up in an abusive household and gang related neighborhood, Matt suffered from years of abuse from his step-father and local crews in his neighborhood, he eventually fell into a life of Drugs and Recklessness.. As far as he knew, he had no reason to live. He then started getting heavy into vandalism, hardcore drugs, gang parties and unsafe sex.. One night after everyone had left him alone from a night of partying, he was feeling miserable, lonley & lost in his own head.. He decided to snort an absurd ammount of cocaine in a short ammount of time. Matt had nearly died due to an overdose.. Some weeks later Matt started searching for something bigger than his life in his small ghetto neighborhood. He opened the bible he had gotten from his old church when he was 8 or 9 and read a passage that described what he had been going through and he imediately started to seek the Love of Christ. Now a Christian Musician Nearly 4 years later, he now writes and performs songs of redemption and songs that describe past memories and lost loves, He's out to prove to the world and to everyone that said he would ammount to nothing, that anyone that has done their fair share of messing up can reclaim themselves and become something so much bigger than the small town that tried to keep them there.
