Lyrics

LIFT ME UP

Written By: MATT HUBBARD

Lift me up unto the crystal stars above
Lift me up unto eternal holy love
I wanna be a broken angel in your eyes
And now with just one kiss we'll be baptized

When we went into that dark and deadly wood
When we knew we only did it 'cause we could
Will we ever mend our wild and wicked ways?
Will we ever learn before we meet our graves?

One day when we reach that last twilight crossroads
One day when we lighten up our earthly loads
Yes in time my friend I'll see you there where dreams are free to roam
When one day comes only the fortune-teller knows, or so the story goes...

Lift me up unto the crystal stars above
Lift me up unto eternal holy love
I wanna be a broken angel in your eyes
And now with just one kiss we'll be baptized
