Bio
Norwegian indie electronics with a touch of spoken word and Indian raga drones; this duo sets course for unknown shores hidden in the foggy distance. Armed with an Elektron Machinedrum, Harmonium, circuit bent Casio’s and two distinct, yet utterly different vocal approaches, mattisogjonas combines old with new while keeping the beats running steady like a boat engine thumping away below deck.
Both musicians have a wide range of influences, and both contribute to the Norwegian music scene through collaborations with other artists like Karl Seglem, Navyelectre, Eple Trio, Mattis Myrland & GTR, Ingrid Olava & Ivar Grydeland.
