Whether it’s a Sunday brunch, candlelight dinner, jazz club, corporate event, or wedding reception, Matt La Von Ensembles provides a vibrant and authentic musical experience. With a host of trained professional musicians, we have ensembles specifically tailored to meet your needs. Be it subtle background music or lively entertainment, if you are a jazz lover or just want to set the mood for a pleasant social atmosphere, we bring to each occasion a high caliber of professionalism, musical sensitivity, and an endless repertoire. Along with musicians who have years of professional experience in New York and its surrounding areas, you are assured to enjoy a sound which is nothing short of superb.
As well as playing a variety of restaurants and clubs throughout New York City, Matt La Von Ensembles (as a quartet) is on a first call basis with the notable New York firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, for their various social events throughout the year. We are also on first call at Carmine’s, on 44th street in Manhattan, for any of their large party functions which request live cocktail and dinner music.
The first five recordings on the audio page feature The Matt La Von Quartet (saxophone, piano, bass and drums). The last track is a live recording of a vocalist who is available upon request. Additional musicians as well as different combinations of the above instruments are also available.
