Bio

From musical diplomas to being dubbed “truly talented” by Kelly Rowland of Destiny’s Child, Matt Lewis, from Wales, UK, is a name that you will be hearing a lot more of in the very near future. Matt, 19, declares his first EP, entitled “Soul Ambition” as “Art imitating life”.

At 10, Matt realised he wanted to be involved in the industry on a larger scale when music became his self-expression, wanting to make people feel the way he did when he listened to music.

And to this day his music is a reflection of self-belief, courage and staying strong throughout any troubles. But be sure that you won’t hear anything quite like Soul Ambition. Described as a mix of R&B, Pop with Soul, Matt insists, “I’m not afraid to try new things. I'm happy that together with The “K” Theory we can come up with new things without being pressured into copying styles that are already done. We want to be true musical artists”

Accomplished academic student, Matt Lewis aspires for more. "Music has so much power, it has the ability to touch many lives as it has done me and I just want to share my love for music and my life experiences." Currently juggling his final year studies at University of Glamorgan with his music, he realises that the industry can be fickle but no doubt will continue 110%. "Music isn’t what I do, it’s who I am! And that in itself is freedom to me!"

With track titles including “Live Life For Today,” “Society” and “Mr Wreckless”, you can guarantee these are anything but fabricated pop songs. Soul Ambition, out to buy now, is a reinforced journey of truth, discussing life in its raw entity.

“Matt’s inventive personality is in tune with his emotions and has a rich imagination that flourishes into his music…. and boy, will it be appreciated by music lovers everywhere!”

A testimony unto itself…
