When it comes to reggae with heart, Australian artist Matty Woods has it covered. His debut release The Ras Gong Guerrilla EP doesn’t shy away from tackling political and sometimes controversial issues, and – in addition to being an expression of his innate creativity and musical talents – represents an extension of his personal activism. - The Scavenger

...Next on stage was the Ras Gong Guerrillas who appear to have a strong local following with a small yet enthusiastic crowd dancing to the reggae riddims. The band had even the most uptight patrons tapping their feet. Matty's debut release 'The Ras Gong Guerrilla EP' covers many heated and political forums such as Indigenous sovereignty, transitional lifestyles, climate change, national identity, and corruption at all leves of business and government.

The smooth roots reggae grooves pounding so strongly out of the recesses of deep bass are alluring and an island vibes rhythm you can chant and stomp your feet to all day!
